South Bay

Patrick joined Harbert South Bay in 2002 and is primarily involved in capital management and partner relations as well as directing company strategy including sourcing and evaluating new opportunities.

Prior to joining Harbert South Bay, Patrick was with Archon Group, a Goldman Sachs affiliate, working on commercial development and operating partner oversight.

Patrick received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Methodist University.

Joel joined Harbert South Bay in 2016 and focuses on capital markets including both equity and debt relationships. Joel also oversees all financial analysis and underwriting.

Prior to joining Harbert South Bay, Joel served as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions for CNL Financial Group, where he led seniors housing acquisitions.

Joel received an undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Florida.

Chuck joined Harbert South Bay in 1995 and has been involved in all facets of the development process. While his predominant role today involves the asset management function for both private equity based assets and institutional owned assets, he still participates in the up front development process.

Prior to joining Harbert South Bay, Chuck was previously employed at the Dallas office of Prudential Realty Group where he specialized in seniors housing acquisitions.

Chuck received a degree in accounting from Texas A&M University.

Kyle joined South Bay in 2014 and provides oversight for all aspects of the development process.

Prior to joining South Bay, Kyle was lead developer for Silver Oaks Development Company where he managed the development process for their assisted living, memory care and independent living facilities. Before Silver Oaks, he was a development manager at ZOM Texas where he was involved in the development of over 2,000 units of traditional garden style, mid-rise and high-rise apartment product types.

Kyle received a Bachelor of Science in Economics with Financial Application from Southern Methodist University as well as a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.

Mr. Arnold joined South Bay in 2013 and is responsible for market analysis, land purchase, entitlements, financial modeling, coordination of contractors and construction management.

Prior to joining South Bay, Mr. Arnold was responsible for the development of standalone memory care facilities in Texas with The LaSalle Group.

Adam received a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.

Kelly joined South Bay in 2017 and is responsible for the accounting and analysis of both operational and development projects.

Prior to joining South Bay, Ms. Hodge worked in real estate accounting for property management of both multifamily and commercial with Westdale and Mill Creek Residential.

Kelly received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Merrimack College.

Nhan joined Harbert South Bay in November of 2023, focusing on project accounting for Harbert South Bay’s portfolio of development and operating properties.

He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting from Southern Methodist University. Nhan is a Certified Public Accountant.

Sean joined Harbert South Bay in February of 2023 focusing on project accounting for HSB’s portfolio of development and operating properties.

Prior to joining HSB, Sean was a Staff Accountant for industrial development firm, NorthPoint Development, where he oversaw the property accounting for a diverse range of warehousing entities.

Sean received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Kansas State University.

Josh joined Harbert South Bay in 2022 and is responsible for market analysis, financial modeling, and generating reports and presentations. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
