The Credit Solutions (Mezzanine Lending) group typically provides $5 million to $15 million in subordinated debt and equity investments to companies in need of capital for organic growth, acquisitions, recapitalizations or management buyouts.
We look for investment opportunities characterized by a management team with a demonstrated track record, sufficient cash flow to service debt, growth potential and a viable exit strategy.
Mr. Harrison joined HMC in 2000 and serves as Senior Managing Director of HMC’s Credit Solutions Funds. His responsibilities include directing the investing activities of and chairing the Investment Committee for the funds. He is a former member of the board of directors for HMC.
Prior to joining HMC, Mr. Harrison gained experience in the commercial banking industry with a focus on lending and credit management. Additionally, Mr. Harrison worked for Finova Mezzanine Capital as Vice President and Eastern Regional Manager before joining the firm. He is also the former Vice President of Sirrom Capital Corporation. He received an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee.
Mr. Scott joined HMC in 2000 and serves as a Managing Director of HMC’s Credit Solutions Funds. He is responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring investments of and serves on the Investment Committee for the funds. He worked for Finova Mezzanine Capital as Vice President and formerly served with Sirrom Capital Corporation as Eastern, North, West, and Midwestern Regional Manager. He is also a former Commercial Bank Officer for Ameritrust Corporation, Citizens Bank and First American National Bank. He received an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky.

He is responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring investments of and serves on the Investment Committee for the funds. Prior to joining HMC, he held the position of Vice President with Sirrom Capital Corporation and Finova Mezzanine Capital. Mr. Bourquin began his finance career with the investment bank George K. Baum in Kansas City. He received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Owen School at Vanderbilt University and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Dickinson College.

Prior to joining HMC, Mr. Davis worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions – Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group at Lazard Freres & Co. in New York. He received his undergraduate degrees in Spanish and Commerce with a concentration in Finance from the University of Virginia.

She is responsible for a number of administrative functions including internal and investor reporting, marketing and fundraising efforts. Prior to joining HMC, Ms. Ory worked at Finova Mezzanine Capital and in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at SunTrust Equitable Securities. She received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University.

Prior to joining HMC, Mr. Henry worked for Health Warrior, a fast growing private‐equity‐backed natural food company, in a variety of roles including finance, operations, and business analytics. Previously, he worked in the Healthcare and Life Sciences Group at Harris Williams & Co., a middle‐market investment bank focused on sell‐side M&A advisory. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University.

Previously, he served as an investment banking analyst with the Diversified Industrials Group at Cowen and Company in New York, focusing on M&A advisory. Mr. Harrell received his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Georgia.
