HGP – Harbert Growth Partners IV Portfolio Company MapAnything Signs Definitive Agreement with Salesforce
We’re excited to announce today that we agreed to be acquired by Salesforce, the world’s #1 CRM.
In 2009, Ben Brantly and I saw a tremendous opportunity in the Salesforce ecosystem. Founded as a Systems Integrator called Saber Solutions, we built some of the first ERP systems on the Force.com platform. Saber Solutions delivered transformative business impact to our clients and more importantly allowed us to align with a company whose values we shared.
Our business evolved in 2012 when we published our first applications on Salesforce AppExchange, one of which was MapAnything. The power of location in mobile devices was starting to change our personal lives, and we set out to change the way enterprises deliver value to field sales and service professionals while at work.
The market traction for MapAnything has been incredible. We now power over 1,900 customers ranging from small businesses to the largest global enterprises, who rave about our impact on The Salesforce AppExchange and whose reviews have led to our designation as a G2 Crowd Leader in Field Sales and Field Service.
